What is the best way to clean water deposits off a stainless sink
l am remodeling my kitchen and was given a nice but used stainless steel
sink to put in it. Its been outside for a while and we have somewhat hard
water, so it has gotten some cloudy mineral type deposits on it. Any ideas
how to make this shiny and nice again?

Ther is a product called Mr. Metal that works graet on copper,
brass ans stainless steel.. I've used it on all three with good results.
Buy it at the supermarket,
Wipe it down with WD40. Works great!
I use Bar Keeps Friend to clean mine. Then I polish it with
Lemon Pledge each night. It is ten years old and looks like new.
You can use white vinegar spray the vinegar all around, and
wait a few moments, and then wide with a soft cloth. Then take a clean
cloths and rub until it shines. I keep a spray bottle of white vinegar
and I clean the sink this way after dinner each night, and you can use the
vinegar on the stove, and the counter tops It will not only clean but it
will also remove any lingering odors from cooking.
I use Scrubbing Bubbles on mine. I spray it on leave it for
about 5 minutes wipe it with a wash cloth and rinse. Works great on mine.
Vinegar, Vinegar, Vinegar it works wonders on hard water
stains.
try peroxide.if that doesn't work.rubbing alcohol will.just
takes a little..
They have this cleaner and it is called Bar Keepers Friend. It
is used to clean bar and restaurant stainless steel sinks. It will come in
a can like comet and you should be able to find it super markets or
hardware stores. Good Luck! It is a good product and I use it all the
time!
Mix together lemon juice and salt and scrub them with it. It
sounds ridiculous but works really well.
I had to take 0000 (very fine) steel wool to mine. We have well
water and it makes terrible stains on it. Usually stainless sinks have a
tiny ridged design in them from the manufacturer. I just rub the fine
steel wool in the same direction as the marks so it is less visible. This
is the only thing I have found that works, despite trying lots of
chemicals and scrubs. Good luck.
Try Lime Away spray.
TILEX!!!!! Also, Comet works wonders!!! You could use a soft
scrub sponge. They both work wonders! Also, Windex is great for the
after clean lol..
Good luck!
